This is a quick post to say goodbye to my beloved house and hello to my new home and to say I don’t know when I’ll post next. I’m moving tomorrow and when things settle I’ll be back.
The first photo is of the house I live in as of right now. I’ll miss you my house of dreams. You’ve been good to me. As of tomorrow…this is the village in Fort Langley, which will be a 10 minute walk from my new house, all lit up.

They were a Christmas gift and with all of this wet and snow I have been getting a lot of use out of them and they’re cute to boot! Ha! Get it? Boot.
I’ll be thinking of you during this transition! I will add you to my prayers and look forward to your next post.
Oh Heidi! I LOVE Fort Langley! It’s just a skip across the border and so much fun to wander about, antiques and sandwiches! Leaving your gorgeous home, all white and calm will indeed be sad- I do prefer the slower pace of Fort langely and the straight drive to Steveston where I used to get all of my English fixes…haven’t been there since that little old couple died. Anyway, my dearest, moving can be daunting- good luck with it all and I am sure your new home will be heavenly! I am excited!
Good luck moving. I’m sorry you are leaving your dream house. I’ve never had a dream house, but I can imagine this must be hard for you.
Fort Langley looks like a fine place and I can’t wait to hear how you are settled in there.

Good luck with the move! If I lived close, I’d walk down the street and help you move a few boxes! I will be in your lovely B.C. for the weekend – hoping to escape the fog here that’s bogged us down! Will look forward to checking your blog again and hearing how the move went. Hope you have good help.

Oh how exciting Heidi! I’ve just been catching up on your week… I’m so thrilled that you and Scott are seeing your courage to live true to yourselves be rewarded with an opportunity to make a new home – of dreams unfolding. It’s inspiring. Thinking of you as you make the move… looking very stylish in those fab boots!

I bought a pair of wellies couple of weeks ago – unfortunately, haven’t had the chance to break them in yet. We don’t get much snow here.

oh heidi!! I hadn’t dropped by in quite a while, but I noticed your absence. So I check in and what do I read? This wonderful news! Congrats and I hope everything has gone smoothly.
