This concert was two nights ago and I am still swept up. What an incredible show!! You were right, kassyk she is amazing live.
It was a long wait at BC Place….she didn’t come on until 9:30 and we had been there since 7:30. (We wanted the good parking)
Madonna was well worth the wait though. From beginning to end it was a feast for the eyes. I could kill for that butt of hers!! She was entertaining, gracious and so much fun! Her energy was something to behold. She was jumping rope at one point, and then skipping double dutch. Are you kidding me?? While singing?? I was in awe. She sang a few of my favorites including, Like a Prayer. And…oh my. I was taken to a higher place, people. She took a request towards the end of the evening. Like a Virgin, of course. Her fans were adoring, ranging in all ages, shapes and sizes, some with feather boas, lacy gloves and kitty ears? (I’m not sure what the ears were about. A nod to Halloween perhaps?) dancing and singing along.
It was a delicious show and I was reminded of why she is the superstar that she is. She deserves to be. She works hard for it and she puts on a fantastic show! All hail the Queen!
(That’s me on the left up there and my lovely friend Tanya on the right to whom I owe this good time to……thank you!!)
